Five minutes at a time.
Date: November 23, 2015
Days Spent on Project: 1007
Location: NW Portland, OR
Person I would have sent it to: TBD
Music I listened to while sewing: Back to listening to Ariana Grande’s “Why Try.” I’m not that despondent tonight, though.
Thoughts/Feelings behind the block: The week started well.
Got up at 6am. Hit the snooze button until 6:36am. Took the dog out. Fed him his breakfast. Left for work at 8:15 or so.
In the building by 8:30am. Shop meeting at 9am. Spent the morning digging through old piles of random un-used garbage that people were holding onto “just in case” or “to save money” or “cut corners. This theater has been in this building for 9 years now; if we haven’t used bits of things (garbage), it’s time to let them go. All the various departments filled a dumpster. That felt good.
The clothes being made for the new scenes (I’m designing) are turning out well and fun. I think *some* of the people in the shop are getting behind it now, and having fun with it.
Needed two Venti coffees… and one cookie in the afternoon…
Left at 6pm. Walked the dog in the rain. Watched an episode of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. Listening to Spotify and wrestling with my dog.
Time for another walk; it’s 9pm. I’ll try to read or watch some more Netflix. Then bed. That’s all she wrote.
